So, I started listening to an abridged version by accident.

the more i heard about the movie, the more i wanted to read the book and the less i wanted to see the movie. so i started the book. as if i have the time to read things that aren't assigned texts but here we go anyway lol!!!

Wow! To go from Jamie's Sightlines (written twelve years before this one!) to Cairn is to watch her mature as a writer and a woman. Instantly a little more nuanced, more insecure and yet so assertive and self-confident which makes for beautifully intentional poetry and prose.
