80% through and this has been a wild ride. I'm so infuriated at the whole world on Frankie's behalf!

So far, I like the sharp voice of the author, but I'm not entirely sure where this is headed. I'm pleased with that, however.

I've wanted to read this book for years. It's always been highly recommended by my peers, but I must admit that I was pretty disappointed. This wasn't my favorite Bradbury.

I'm not far enough into it to fully grasp the structure, but I do see some validity to people calling it an essay rather than a novel. (oooh, controversy) With that said, I'm very interested in it and I can't wait to finish it. I've been "getting to it" for over a decade.

When I was a teen, I loved Kevin Williamson's dialogue because he wrote scripts with teenagers who were smart and witty. I see the same thing in John Green's work. Even though I'm now in my twenties, I still admire that. I love this book.

As I read this, I picture my relatives and friends that have been deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq in the scenes rather than Chris Kyle, making it very hard to get through.
