I love Brian's Poems - starting with You Took the Last Bus Home.
This was bought by my daughter for my birthday. Literally reading 1 poem per day on the date set.

I will be taking this slowly over a number of weeks to fully appreciate the poetry.

I am somewhat biased here.

Gill is the sister of one of my close friends. They were born and brought up in Derry/Londonderry.

Now retired, she has published this book of poems, the first part a reflection of her childhood in N Ireland and the second part 50 years later regarding her life split between Dorset and Derry.

I went to the Dorset launch event and am looking forward to reading the rest of the poems.
