Sometimes I think about the fact that Alix and I are living parallel lives in the same town (except that she writes incredible stories that I can only hope to read) and then question all my life choices.

I already regret this decision in virtually every way possible.

Depending on where you began the story, it was about Noah Czerny.

Don’t throw it away.

Depending on where you began the story, it was about Seondeok.

Depending on where you began the story, it was about the Gray Man.

Depending on where you began the story, it was about Gwenllian.

[I also missed Henry Cheng at 61%. So many threads.]

Depending on where you began the story, it was about Neeve Mullen.

Depending on where you began the story, it was about Declan Lynch.

Depending on where you began the story, it was a story about the women of 300 Fox Way.

WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT WELSH KINGS?

I didn’t even like the first book very much but somehow I ended up with an ARC of this, so let’s roll.

This book should have been three books.

One hour into this book and Creon has already stormed off, full of angst, like a toddler. I regret everything.

Less than 15% into this and Tycho is already being abused by everyone. I hate this.

😱⁉️😱⁉️😱⁉️

The sky and the sand and the sea and Corr is one of the most beautiful lines ever written.

HOW are there still 4 hours left in this.

I am strongly considering DNF. Matilda is insufferable and Vincent does not make up for her complete lack of personality.

Praying this is more like Elements of Cadence and less like Ruthless Vows 🙏🙏🙏

I love this book more than nearly any other book, but Jane becoming emaciated and nearly dying after not eating for two days is one of the silliest episodes in literature.

This moping, angsty, “melodramatic wall cactus” is the character I never knew I needed.

My husband read about this book in an article and recommended it to me, so maybe I have A Type.

It’s been a while, but I have nothing else I want to read, so let’s go.

The title and blurb for this book are absolutely unhinged.

Still one of the only books I’ve read where the “I’m keeping a secret from you” trope is done exceptionally well.

I forgot how much this book hurt.

What if I spend all of 2025 reading books I’ve already read because nothing good is being released anymore?

omg… we’re getting Trafalgar, aren’t we‽

Could not be more excited to have received an ARC of this criminally unappreciated series.

Book 2 of Grey being a colossal ass for absolutely no reason. 😒
