Like a poor man's Olive Kittridge but not without it's charms

So dense and exciting

Really quite funny

"Director and critic Harold Clurman, who rejected the play for the radical Group Theater, defined its style as one of "lyric anarchism"." Yes, lyric anarchism. Deeply religious existentialism. It reminds me of The Catcher in the Rye. The madness of the thoughts you think when you haven't spoken to anyone all day.

This is beautiful with a thread of deep angst running through it.
