Quite funny actually!

This is my second Ishiguro book, after Remains of the Day. I feel like I'm reading it incredibly fast because it is so sparse. The dialogue reminds me of the subtitles on anime - of Japanese conversation, the way things are phrased and which ideas are highlighted in a sentence. It also reminds me a bit of Black Mirror. Everything is normal and then something 1% comes along which is absolutely horrifying.

So good

Really powerful and well written and quite miserable. Reminds me of the world and misery of sin in A Little Life by Yanagihara.

Hilarious!

This is the book that the Studio Ghibli film Tales from Earthsea is based on. This story is very quick to start into the action. Much faster than the previous two books.

Very much worth reading. A good one for a holiday in the countryside. Only 104 pages!
