If I have to read about the fmcs tummy issues one more time I’m gonna throw my kindle across the room 🙃 Also, why do both characters act like being a decent human is the most amazing thing in the world. Like pouring someone lemonade or being sweet with children.

Decided to do immersive reading with this one cuz the glossary was a little intimidating 😅 so far it’s heavy on the world building which I’m enjoying and I think it’s perfect for spooky season.

Just started the audiobook and kinda bummed that the male narrator sounds like a grandpa 🫤 I get he’s her ex boyfriends dad but he could still have a sexy voice.

The only reason I start book 2 was cuz I need more of Keir. Hopefully it doesn’t disappoint 🤞🏼
