Not liking this at all.... Don't know how to feel.... I don't want to dnf any more books but....

...no me está gustando nada...

You can really tell the author never set foot in Spain. I'm finding it hard to suspend my disbelief tbh

He empezado a leerla al mismo tiempo que la King James porque esta traducción es 0 poética y me deprime

"But his apartment in Nashville was small—only five rooms."

Damn you can really tell this book was written in the 2000s

"El día en que te descubrí fue el último de un largo destierro"

Fuck this is too good

Acabo de empezarlo y ya sé que me lo voy a pasar TAN BIEN con la docencia de este año, puf qué ganas

🤌🤌🤌🤌

A tomar por culo

Que acabe esta tortura ya por favor

There's something worse than incest. Way worse

Breast mentions count starts

Creo que ahora no estoy como para leer esto, así que lo retomaré cuando esté en Madrid 💆‍♀️

Can't really explain it but the way the narrator speaks reminds me of those "and then everybody clapped" posts on tumblr. I don't trust him at all

Hope is exactly that, that’s all it is, a matter of how we deal with the negative acts towards human beings by other human beings in the world, remembering that they and we are all human, that nothing human is alien to us, the foul and the fair, and that most important of all we’re here for a mere blink of the eyes, that’s all.

Nevermind I'm actually really enjoying it 😀

Had to push through the first chapter, so this is not a great start 😬

I can't stop reading but I don't know if it's because I'm truly interested in the story or just bored on vacation

"While Dolores is inside, she opens the trash bag and extracts the butt of her cigarette, which glows faintly from the imprint of Dolores's lip balm. Leo wants to eat it, ash and all. To feel the paper turn to pulp between her teeth. To lick the place where Dolores fixed the cigarette between her lips. She feels feral and shivery".
