Not loving that Catherine is not wanting to eat certain foods and worrying about needed to “work off” the food she’s eating. I’m all for a healthy lifestyle, but it is coming across much different imo.

Also please if I hear “she looked at her lover” …. LOVER?? No.. please NO

I have truly enjoyed getting to see Sutton take charge a bit more!

93% done. This is the longest it has ever taken me to get through a Haley Cass book. I’m pushing through to the end but it’s just that.. pushing. Or I supposed it would be more to crawling my way through this book.

Normally, Cass’ books are a solid 5 stars for me, but this book is incredibly frustrating! It needs a heavy proofread and there are areas where the wrong name is used.

Emma getting super pissy when Jo doesn’t tell her that she invested in her sister’s business is giving me ick. She’s very whiny and even calls her mom saying “I guess I’m just not important enough to her” OR she’s a grown woman who can invest her money how she wants?? Weird.

I super hate how much Emma calls Jo “boss”. It’s excessive 😭

77% done and if I hear the word “incredulous” one more time I’m going to cry. The editing in this book is atrocious! I love Haley Cass and really enjoyed TWW, but MAN this book is desperately in need for a good edit and could easily be half the size it is. It’s a good read, but unnecessary long at times.

Roughly 54% done with this audio book and I just need to know WHY Lori Prince keeps trying to give Charlotte a SOUTHERN accent?? It’s driving me crazy.
