Tā sajūta, kad ar bažām sāc lasīt personiski pazīstama autora īsstāstu (ja nu man nepatiks???), bet to pabeidz ar mirdzošām acīm, jo bija LIELISKI! Es ar sajūsmu izlasītu pilna garuma romānu par Sapņu pūtēja piedzīvojumiem. Paldies, Ellena Kallena!

I really enjoyed the characters and the setting in this book! I was very glad that the police inspector turned out to be so modern thinking and respectful of women and their brains, I was worried he will treat them as silly and not let openly be involved.
However, I was missing more tight plot with the mystery and more ingenious solving of it.

Corset! I saw the word "corset" in historical romance book! *happy sigh*
Lately I have had impression that most historical romance writers have decided to erase this garment from the history, along with petticoats and sometimes even chemises. And as this book is about a dressmaker, it would have hurt in double.

This story really makes one think how many walls we build around ourselves to protect us from past experiences repeating, how we put on mask and don't let anyone see our true selves. And how much can change not remembering anything of the past, just being our true selves...
