"Oh, the talk/explanation and later Clair's experience of Perpetual Adoration was a balm to my soul! Made me realise how I miss it...

Pity I did not stop then and continued reading. Do the reader really had to know all the details of Jamie's torture? Not me."

“Reading the romantics suggests just that… a romantic spirit. It’s entirely possible for a person to be both romantic in spirit and practical of mind. To exist, one without the other, leaves for a colorless soul.”

“It's going to be all right, sir," Harry said over and over again, more worried by Dumbledore's silence than he had been by his weakened voice. "We're nearly there ... I can Apparate us both back ... don't worry ..."
"I am not worried, Harry," said Dumbledore, his voice a little stronger despite the freezing water. "I am with you.”
J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

“Every book, every volume you see here, has a soul. The soul of the person who wrote it and of those who read it and lived and dreamed with it. Every time a book changes hands, every time someone runs his eyes down its pages, its spirit grows and strengthens.”
Carlos Ruiz Zafón, The Shadow of the Wind

William F. Buckley Jr.
“Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views.”
William F. Buckley

Mother Teresa
“The most terrible poverty is loneliness, and the feeling of being unloved.”
Mother Teresa

“He accused me of being Dumbledore's man through and through."
"How very rude of him."
"I told him I was."
Dumbledore opened his mouth to speak and then closed it again. Fawkes the phoenix let out a low, soft, musical cry. To Harry's intense embarrassment, he suddenly realized that Dumbledore's bright blue eyes looked rather watery, and stared hastily at his own knee. When Dumbledore spoke, however, his voice was quite steady.
"I am very touched, Harry.”
J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
