'Puthered' is not a word! Does the author mean 'puttered'?

I don't know whether the author is making words up or simply can't be bothered to consult a dictionary or thesaurus to check their spelling &/or find alternative words.

I'm 67% into the book & the writing style hasn't improved. I know very little about the key characters.

I’m really struggling with this book - the author’s writing style reads like poorly written fan fiction. Add to this:
• The spelling mistakes
• The grammatical errors
• The poor editing
• Using made up and incorrect words. For example, the word ‘agreeance’ does not exist.
I can certainly see why this book is free to read on Amazon Prime
