Instantly hooked 🪝so glad this is on KU. I also impulse ordered special editions of this duology from Faecrate because the art was insaneeee! I figured if I wasn’t into the story I would just trade them.

Bro honestly this is gunna put me into a reading slump. I can’t do it. I think I really tried but this writing is horrible. It doesn’t flow. It feels like she just used a thesaurus and big words for the sake of using big words. Nothing at all has happened so far. I’m extremely bored.
This reminds me of Alchemised tbh just reading sooo much and nothing fkn happening.

I never had any desire to read lightlark, but for some reason this piqued my interest. I downloaded a sample on kindle and was instantly enthralled with the story line. Then I was like fuuuuck because I didn’t want to spend $30 (after recently being disappointed by two new books I’ve gotten). I remembered I had store credit at Chamblins and just picked this up. Overjoyed to be able to continue the story!

I’m so bored ngl. I don’t know if this book is for me, which is super sad considering how excited I was for it. The reviews are all raving, too. I literally bought this book new bc I wanted to read it so bad and I think imma just give up now and return it 🙈

This writing is so raw & real and makes me romanticize my own brain and thinking process. I don’t even know how to truly describe it, but Jason Myers is almost like euphoria-esque in a way. His writing just hits and flows and keeps me glued to the pages like what.

Okay I’m mini stressed about finishing this book before Monday night!!
I wish the audio was out already. I feel like I’m rushing reading, but I’m really enjoying this book. I wish I could slow down a bit, but I need to get to page 400 tonight.
