These chapters are long and the excessive details keep pulling me out of the story. Plus, I think I figured out the killer…. My guess is the husband, the best friend, and the officer are working together. I think the dad was murdered when he found out, and the husband was double crossed and murdered…. I’ll report back. I’m just guessing so this is not a spoiler. S/n: Claire is dumb as rocks and a whore.

I’m on chapter 6 and I have a guess at who’s the killers and what’s going to happen… I’m trying hard not to look for spoilers or skip ahead because once I figured it out I’m over it. 😬

This book is moving so slow and so far they’ve given so many useless details that could have shortened this book by 25 pages.

I dnf’d this book. The writing was poor, even if I wanted to be upset about the finger banging on the bus with the kids, or the g*n point MM scene, the writing itself made it hard to get through. Hard no for me

I’m going to soft DNF this book. It turned into something else very police procedural and detective oriented with too many characters and name changes.

I guessed the twist and still had my mouth open when it was revealed. I will say that these thrillers have been getting on my nerves with all these extra side characters added to confuse the reader, it just clutters the story and add nothing to the plot. Now im at the part where I just want things to end because I could careless about any of these people. I hated the missing girl from the beginning ...little shit!

Meredith is an idiot! Why would up keep leaving your child somewhere that they might be getting hurt at after you and the other person gets into it… after you find out they’ve been stalking you? My review is Not about to be pretty…..😩

This book has took a weird turn. These last two chapters I’ve read is like a birthing guide about labor, delivery, and patient care… wtf?

The amount of times this author writes “confusion” is taking me out. Everybody in CONFUSION!!!! Lawd, help me.

Still haven’t picked this back up yet… definitely Batman porn. lol

I keep putting this book down for some reason. It’s written like very choppy and basic like a Freida book. Not a good thing for me.

Dnf’d at 60 pages! It’s Batman p0rn. I’ll finish another day.

In a reading slump😩

I’m falling into a reading slump reading this book. Cheesy writing and I can’t connect with anybody. I’m either going to dnf or finish forcing my way through this book at some point.

I’m not buying the DV in this book. It’s romantized and more dark romance for me. I’ll finish since I’ve been forcing the read for over 6 months just to get it done.

I’m not a romance girlie or a sports fan so I’ve been skimming over the sports plays and August’s pov. I’m finding his character is too unrealistic and the whole whining about somebody you barely met is not my cup of tea. I’m reading this book because I’m looking forward to see how Kennedy Ryan handles domestic violence. As a survivor I find these books therapeutic when done right. I’m not convinced yet

I think this is going to be a dnf… it’s boring and I have only gotten to page 15 in a little over a week. If I haven’t made progress by Monday I’ll dnf.
