I am really enjoying this book, but it does feel like I’ve been thrown suddenly into advanced chemistry and history at a foreign and very racist school - I am very viscerally experiencing what Anequs is, and its taking a lot of brainpower to process!

I love this concept and this author but you cannot have a character use ‘unf’ as a full sentence to describe her attraction and still have me take her seriously

this book has such potential but I keep getting so frustrated w the characters not finishing their convos or asking the right questions 🙃 ‘is this guy guilty?’ yeah we already know he’s guilty of something, you should be asking if he is guilty of the specific thing you want to know about!!!! I’m gonna yell!!!!

I always place books on hold at the library without rereading the blurb or reviews, and pick them up at a whim, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found vampires and lesbians within these pages 🙈
