This book directly adresses the reader which is so strange to read. I think this is the first book I've read that's completely in this style.

I love how intense this book as gotten. From cute bakery magic to adventure. It has a lot of Studio Ghibli vibes

The concept of twitter as a feminist platform is wild to me. Considering how much non-feminist media (to put it kindly) is prevalent on there.

Not a strong start to this book...

Feminista Jones starts with book with a little biography and is stating the obvious -Black feminist twitter is strong and that black women are often ignored in main stream feminism.

I find the writing style to be a little strange and kinda boring. Often too simplistic for the topic of discussion. I wish the author went into depth with the issues instead of just blazing over them.

I haven't picked been reading recently due to stress from life and I've picked up a book for the first time in 5 months now and it feels amazing. My plan for the rest of the year is the read at least 1 page every day.

I can't finish this book.
It's so boring.
The characters are written so robotically...it's like they're not human.
I just wanted a nice mindless read not Alexa writing a story.
I don't know if it's the book or the translator because they tend to translate word for word which sounds very strange at times. I think it's a mixture of both.

This is a little awkward to read. She's sharing her entire life story to a random stranger she just met. Already considering DNF-ing and I'm 10 pages in...

Finally!! The slow burn has come to an end... Now the book is showing why it's 18+ and concent is as sexy as it should be

So far it's been a lot of cute awkward teen romance with a lot of secrets from Eliza's side. Basically fluff.

Now I think it's about time for the angst to hit ... I can't wait!!

The last chapter was so meaningful. I never realised just how much violence there was against trans people until it was laid out in front of me in black and white.
Only two more chapters left and I hope they're as meaningful as the last chapter was because I want to learn more.
