The FMC went to my alma mater?! It always surprises me when I encounter it in the wild!

The story was great. Well executed, nuanced, complicated emotionally but not overwrought. I really liked the story and the characters. The male narrator almost made me stop listening though. Something about his intonation rubbed me the wrong way. But I’m glad I persevered and finished. It’s a lovely book.

I think I need to eyeball read this one

I just realized that the narrator is the same voice actor who was the narrator in “Pushing Daisies!” His rhythm was so familiar but it took me a day or so to place it once I recognized it.

Fun concept! I appreciated that both “realities” got their own arc.

Listening to the audio. I tried the full-cast version but didn’t love it. This narrator is great though. (Weirdly goodreads doesn’t have available the audio version I’m listening to.)
