I’m going to be sick. I’m DNFing this book solely for how many motherfucking times this man said, “Bunny” in the one fucking page.

I knew already that Hank wasn’t the villain and the wife was, but I now realize that she’s holding her hostage so she can take her baby.

Why do we always just automatically assume the women are the victims??

The FMC isn’t likable at all. She’s so fucking demanding for someone whose life was just saved by a complete stranger.

I’m glad I skipped from Mile High to Caught Up and then came back to this one cuz Mile High and Right Move have the weakest fucking FMCs I’ve ever seen. Like bitch get the fuck over yourself. I’m sick of it.

It never ceases to amaze me how these NHL players are always hounded by paparazzi. That’s not a thing. Why is it always a thing?

Why is every guy ever obsessed with her?

I’m getting so fucking sick of this, “oh my god, he’s playing me” blah blah blah and he’s like “I’ll just have to be better and prove it to her”. Like we fucking get it. He’s a player. You don’t trust him. WE UNDERSTAND!

It’s incredibly juvenile writing. Both characters are too innocent and the dialogue just isn’t realistic in general.

And why does everyone ALWAYS know what everyone else is thinking or what they just did like they’re fucking psychic??? It’s so completely impossible it’s not even cute. It’s not intuitive. It’s just stupid. Again, a love story written by a 12-year-old. It’s not even just the love interests though, it’s the friends too.

It’s written like a 12-year-old is trying to write sex.

THIS! This is the tension that was missing with Chase. This is the addictive story I expected out of this. It took almost 50% of the damn book to get there, but I’m finally beginning to understand why Booktok is obsessed.

That was the shittiest first time I’ve ever read. First of all, they were somehow both on the dock and in the sand at the same time which was a bad start anyway. Second of all, there was no foreplay. None. There was no build up to the scene. It all happened as fast as it was over. There was nothing sexy about it at all. She’s been in love with him for 6 YEARS. We deserve better than THAT.

I think I hate this book. Cuz I was all about Chase until Noah happened. Now Noah has happened and I need it to be Noah. I love Noah. I don’t know why but I love Noah. And now this kitchen scene is adorable but I NEED NOAH! I don’t even know who I’m supposed to like at this point. I don’t even know if we’ll ever see Noah again. Maybe his entire purpose was just to jumpstart Ari and Chase.

I’m Team Noah all the way. If Noah ends up hurt at the end of this because of fucking Chase, I will die.

So Chase isn’t the guy Arianna ends up with then?! Because everyone on TikTok is talking about Noah Riley so he must become the main guy. So chase is just a distraction. What the fuck. I thought I knew what i was getting.

I am bored. The whole mood is just “is there a point to this?”

Look, let this be your reminder that a woman always knows. If your girlfriend tells you your female friend likes you as more than a friend, it’s not because she’s jealous. We know. We always know.

I’m a big fan of the “she’s mine,” and “touch her and you die” fictional men but Aiden takes it beyond over the top. He’s not coming off as a strong and controlling Dom. He’s coming off as an insecure little bitch.

I was mad at first because I was so excited to start this series and right out the gate it was like “he has eyeballs. He must fuck me.” I thought it was going to be all smut, no story. But I’m giving her the benefit of the doubt since she was drugged, and I’m willing to see where this goes.
