Trying to read one Malazan book a week but this one is killing me

Doesn’t feel like a Malazan book so far. Very easy to follow but I’m shocked how long Karsa is the pov

I will finish this tomorrow or die trying. I can’t believe there’s 7 more

This is probably the best book so far but Gruntle’s chapters aren’t working for me

I never have to wonder what anyone is thinking thanks to pages upon pages of italics
