I cannot stop reading this book. Gut wrenching and heart breaking....but so perfect.

This is exactly the love story I needed to read to restore my faith in love itself.

Mr. Malfi, we meet again. I am stuck in the Malfi Zone. In these wild times, this guy writes an all encompassing story that takes me out of this reality. Isn't that what great story telling does?

Halfway through this book and it's the first time I have seen someone with Borderline Personality Disorder. And I realize that is exactly who I am. I am in therapy and we focus on symptoms. I know without a doubt that this is what is causing the symptoms. Thanks Adam for sharing your experiences. This book has changed my life and I'm not even halfway through it.

I needed some fantasy and romance. Steven Salvatore always delivers.

If there is one fact that is consistent in this crazy world... It's that Ronald Malfi can write like a mother fu**er. All of his stories have this atmospheric thing about them.

Holy shit. This book... I didn't know what it was at first. And now that I know, I wish I never started to read but I can't stop until I know how it plays out. This is a horror novel.

Ronald Malfi is the absolute master. This is my third book by him and it's hard to put down. He spins such a tale that is rich with characters, all with these mysterious ways about them. No matter his subject matter, it's all rooted in logic and reasoning until it isn't. You are right there with the characters, questioning reality and the unexplainable. These stories all feel so real. So rooted in reality.

Something about this novel just speaks to me about knowing your own story and figuring out who you are and how you operate.

Some authors are just gifted at writing a book that hooks you from the start and never lets up. Clay McLeod Chapman is one of those authors. Just the premise of this book alone is terrifying. This book so far is very thought provoking and fear inducing. There's a very strange dynamic with mothers and sons to begin with. And then add a parent being psychically aggressive... That's every child's nightmare.

Gothic is my absolute fave. And the author can set a mood like no other. The historical aspects and the Buddhist fiction is brilliant and chilling. I can't wait to see where this goes.

Ronald Malfi, in my opinion, is one of the greatest horror authors of the modern era. Some writers weave in the typical jump scares. Ronald Malfi writes in such a way you'll be looking behind you or hearing noises. He's a phenomenal writer. I stumbled upon his book Small Town Horror and burned through it in a day. I'm pacing myself to have October to read his stuff.

I heard the author on This Is Nashville and knew I wanted to get this book. It's super interesting so far. Nashville has some really corrupt history that it doesn't advertise a lot.

This is my first Harlan Coben novel. He makes it almost impossible to put down. I will definitely be reading more of his work.
