Hmmm... I have a hunch since Blake appeared on the page that he's going to be the love intrest 🤔 At least at some point. I can't pinpoint it exacly bc fmc is all over the place, but my gut tells me that there's room in plot for that possibility (though idk how exacly the author would play it out). AND too much of it reminds me of Tamlin and Rhys—with obvious differences 🤨

There were several lines or conversations that made me cringe and want to throw out this damned book, but the last supper and mustache line made me DNF 🥴

😩 I feel like this book series is HEAVILY inspired by the Chestnut Springs series... The plot, characters, family dynamics, etc.
And I still don't like the writing. The characters and story lack depth, and... basically everything else, so far...

I skipped book 2. Let's see if this one is better
