Honestly surprised by this one. I read this for small group book club and I was a little intimidated going into this thinking it would be judgmental and rigid, it was the opposite of that! Very gentle and Christ centered perspective on being a homemaker and how it matters more about our hearts toward the Lord than about the tasks we complete. Really loved it!

this book is reading so differently this time and I’m loving their friendship!

I’ve tried to start this book 100x, but this time I’m absolutely eating this up and I’m feeling 5 star feelings!

I’m liking this story was far and Katherine Center’s writing is so fast paced and easy to read! I want to finish this before I start a new Fall book!

in the beginning the world building was getting really boring, & at about the 50% mark i was hooked! this is getting SO good! as soon as the magical elements were introduced, i couldn’t stop reading!

listening to this as an audiobook rn & really loving Adena 🥹 summer is not my favorite season for fantasy books because i’m more of a romance/literary fiction girly in the summer but loving this as an audiobook!

so far loving the vibe & setting of this book !! a much more literary fiction approach compared to her other books. I’m needing a little more emotional depth to the romance, but other than that it’s a very binge worthy summer read !!

literally flying through this book 🏌️💐 don’t know if it’s because the setting it was so cute or if abby jimenez writes such fast pace writing, but nevertheless i’m loving it! i was going to wait to read it so i could finish my other books but i couldn’t resist this new release!

okay i’m actually loving this book. i needed to take a lil break from fantasy and this is doing the trick! the way she writes is literally transporting me back to childhood, having your first crush & going to the beach 🥹 could be a 5 star, but we will see if the whole book can match the magical setting!
