betrayal of storms was so painfully mediocre. flat worldbuilding, annoying characters, the writing quality is horrible and disjointed with jarring switches between fucking shakespearean english and then highschool dialogue. 3 stars only because i've been LOVING trash novels recently, especially romantasy, and i'm unnecessarily invested in wtf is going on between these gay people
