This was my aunts favorite series. I’ve been missing her so I decided to pick it up ❤️

So far this book doesn’t match the same “wow” factor as the first book. This book is still really good, but I loved Quicksilver so much that I’m in a bit of a reading slump. However I think Brimstone will pick back up and provide that “wow”.

There are elements to this book that I like which is why I haven’t given up on this book. However it’s taking all I have to complete this book. I don’t love the romantic interest, I m not vibing overall with this book. Idk why I’m doing this to myself.

I’m probably going to finish this tonight- literally a new favorite. I haven’t been this into a book in a long time.

It got better at 26% so l will finish it.

I might D&F. The book starts in the middle of a war and it feels like you’re reading a series, but you didn’t read book one. I’m confused to say the least. (I did read ZA)

Started off slow with pacing issues like the first book. Then it got really good.

This got good out of nowhere

Took almost 200 pages for it to get good
