Making the spontaneous decision, way more than a year ago, to buy one of last 10 remaining tickets for her show was one of the best spontaneous decisions of my life. Saw Her last night, it was glorious and my face hurts this morning. So now this.

It‘s probably not a surprise that a book from an apparently well known and successful straight romance writer is a smooth read. Can we make more of them write queer lady romances, please?

The use of “didn’t used to” is driving me crazy.

Giving up in chapter 8. The writing is so bland. These characters should be popping off the pages, they seem so interesting, have so much to offer to a story, but somehow they don’t.

Either Goodreads was wonky and displayed a message alert when there was no message or I was too dense to actually see the message. Anyhoo... if you did send a message, I’m not being rude, I just can’t see it.

Why didn't anyone tell me this was available as an eBook? Last time I checked, it wasn't. One of my,@, favorite lesfic novels, if not THE favorite one. My paperback is in tatters. Also, this and all Stoner McTavish books are available through Kindle unlimited. Judging from the first few pages, I'll love it just as much as before. Fingers crossed.
