Sometimes when I’m fuming at Scalia I have to remember that they’re people too and not robots. This book does an interesting job at reminding you of that

I like how this is addressing her not retiring bc it is a lot of people’s biggest gripe with RBG’s legacy. I appreciate the book’s perspective that retiring would have went against RBG’s entire nature. While I may not have liked it, I can concede that she (and so many others) may not have understood what would come by her not retiring. I don’t think many anticipated how detrimental it was.

I can’t take much more of chapters of conversing about the same history over and over

This book is so important! I loved the chapter on undiagnosed endometriosis as someone who was encouraged to dismiss her own symptoms as “just girl problems.” When in reality it completely changes your body functions. That conversation is so important to have so more women aren’t dismissed by their doctors or even themselves.

PSA: the stories of SA from male gynecologists during pregnancies is heartbreaking

“As a general rule, all women are hysterical” ohhhhh this is gonna be good

Do you ever not want to finish a book bc you don’t like one of the main characters’ name?

Pushing through this but I really just want to reread the TOG series for the fifth time

I rarely give below 3 stars but this one may end up getting a 1. The characters are kind of insufferable and I’m always either cringing at them or annoyed with them

I heard they’re making this into a movie so I figured it was a good time to move it off of my TBR
