Made it to the appendices which are full of facts and little known facts and evidence to back up claims it is just as fascinating as the book itself do not skip it. Only gripe so far is after detailing the ships sinking it kind of rushes what happen after rescue ship carpathia docked in NY

The horror is over the great ship is gone. Now the survivors face a new fear is anyone coming to their rescue? They also realize that life will never be the same again. Family torn apart, wives now widows, children without fathers and some without parents at all.

We have made it to the time frame of between 1:15 and 1:45 and the reality is setting in that the ship might be mortally wounded by the passenger. The lifeboats have not been lowered full at this point but I feel that’s about to pick up. I love how the authors have been able to give the full story of what was happening at the time from all points of the ship not just the ones made famous.

Titanic has just stuck the iceberg and we are about to get into the sinking itself. This book is so detailed I’m learning little facts that I had no idea about.

We have made it to the second full day at sea. This book is so informative and I didn’t even know about the second class passenger that made 11 trips to the pursers office to request a room change cause she thought her room was not adequate

This books is a very interesting tell. I know from reading other books on the sinking that his account is embellished a little but it is still fascinating to read first hand accounts of the tragedy.

Finding out the fate of the ship and the axis high command all in the same book is pretty cool for a history buff like me

This is a very interesting book. I for one never knew that the third reich even made a film about the titanic. I’m about half way through and the strange history of the stand in ship for the movie is crazy. There where a lot of similarities between the ship and the real Titanic
