Well I hated this book at first , but now it’s maybe going on me. What I thought to be an awful crotchety old woman, I still think of on those terms but maybe give her more grace since I know more of her background. Still I can’t imagine why this received so many too ratings. I guess time might tell.

Good story. Heartwarming.

Still not sure what this book is. Is it gonna be a love story or a murder mystery or just some historical fiction about this unique island going under. I still have no idea since I do not read descriptions of books before I start them. So shrug? Going ok though. Not my favorite but I like it. Loved reading up on the real history of the island and those poor penguins.

Really hating this book. Every single character pisses me off except maybe Izzy. 50/50 on if I’ll continue.

I think this is the 4th book on AI in the last 2 months. I didn’t plan this.

As an audio book it was very difficult to get into in the beginning with the changing perspectives, but I’m glad I stuck with it.

Still really disliking the book. I need a little more balance. And it’s just really upsetting me every time the wife speaks to the husband. Who the hell would lie in this situation?! He’s in the land of plenty, let him know what’s occurring ! Uhg.

Needed a light break from the housemaid. So far this is interesting!

Wow. I had no idea. Was just a fan of the marvel universe. So far this has been so emotional. I’m reading the audio and hearing the real like 911 call I just burst into tears. Just wow.
