I mostly enjoyed the story. However, the main character, Jin, was annoying AF. The self-righteous, self-pitying big sister/guardian attitude was really annoying.

I’m glad some that she got it together by the end of the book!

Honestly… way too much happening too fast. This is actually a horror story and I still have 4 hours. Too much for my emotions…
Her man, her brother, her dog, her child and her new man… I can’t take it…

I think I’m over these characters at this point…
Really just a bunch of h0rn1e liars. They have the most inappropriate thoughts at the most random and inappropriate times… made it more difficult to connect with the characters.

James and Jasmine should’ve just made Monica a sister wife…

The white privilege in this book. Ugh.

These people are way to nice letting a stranger stay with them. Then the stranger is immediately wrecking havoc!

Nana/Grace and her butt smacking makes me laugh every time.

Just can’t get in to much

Weird book. Very weird.

Of all the weirdest things it was referring to his private as a toddler in a sexual reference. Toddlers and anything sexual don’t go together for me. It was slightly uncomfortable

Audi version. Unfortunately reads like a boring autobiography. This book is too long so be so boring. I also think that narrator did nothing for such a boring book. Very disappointing. Almost 5 hours in and there’s just no hope. DNF
