A book I have been starving to consume, the Book of Exu is an intense account of the Cult of Quimbanda within the Afro-Brazilian lineages that were initially born out of cross-overs of European, Native and African beliefs. A sorcerous demonology, Kiumbanda is operated under the viceregency of the Exus and Pomba Giras: male and female spirits of material potency. Solomonic Goetia, Freemasonry and Spiritism are present

Just passed halfway through the textbook and so far it has been a remarkably enlightening read. Thursakyngi/the Thursatru Tradition is certainly distinct from modern neo-Pagan Asatru, though it is based off of the same Icelandic/Scandinavian mytho-poesis - the Eddas. Here there is strong focus on the anticosmic giants - beings such as Loki, Surt, Aurgelmir, Gullveig, Hel and the terrifying virtues of Muspel-Niflheim.

The latest exemplar output from northern occult publisher, Ixaxaar; it is a spectacular exposition on Norse mythology, Nordic/Gothic/Germanic traditions, and a contemporary gnostic form of Northern Sorcery. I won't call it 'Pagan' as it does not reflect any ancient practice - it focuses on Fenrir, Surtr, Aurgelmir and the forces of Chaos-Ginnungagap. No praise of Odin, Thorr or any Cosmic Gods here!

Liber HVHi was (surprisingly) a very enlightening and oppositional text, spiritually and paradigmatically. I am not too interested in the Luciferian-Satanist doctrines, as I have been more or less studying/practising such tantrics for the past 5 years. What I am particularly interested in is his 'restoration' of 'Yatuk Dinoih' - the defiant religious aspects of ancient Persia. Will be buying his Drauga book next.

A precious volume that has laid dormant in my collection for some time now, made relevant and put to use by my current Mesopotamian studies. A divergence from the textbooks of academicians, this grimoire adds a new dynamic to my studies: the perspective on Akkadian mythology from a practitioner's perspective. So far much information on Babylonian demons, the Enuma Elish and the 11 is given. A brilliant read so far.

Dustin is finished with Sumerian Mythology
Absolutely stupendous read. I am now far more learned in the religion, myths, legends, heroes and spirits of the Sumero-Akkadian pantheon. I will be continually re-examining the various (fragmented) epics and the attributions/alternate names assigned to the ancient gods of Sumer. Otherwise, on to more academic tractates on the geographical locale and culture itself.

While being a brief monograph's length, this short manual reveals an indistinguishable amount of information, somehow presenting itself in an engaging and fascinating light;yet ever retaining its scholarship. In regards to the information, so far I have learned much about the Sumerian myths of Inanna, Enki-Ea, Ki, An(u), Namtar, Nergal and an extended retinue of gods and their legends. Will say much more when finished
