Holy s*it that's all I have to say. Last night I couldn't put this book down until two in the morning and only because I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore and the same goes for tonight. It's 1 am and damn like I've only just made it through part one and you're telling me there are still over 300 pages left! Brb I have to go pre order the next book.

Honestly thus far I'm really impressed not just with the story, but the writing is very well paced and the character developments are done in a thoughtful way. Clearly, the author spent a lot of time really flushing everything out, I can feel the intention behind everything written. Normally the second book in a series suffers, but as of 200 pages in, I can't put this book down!

Welp, I severely underestimated how busy I was this year but hey I'm still ending the year on a satisfying number of 20 books. I read more academic and spiritual books this year which I think slowed me down as well because I can't binge read them like my normal fiction. Overall I'm still content with my 2024 year in books, however, I gotta say I am itching to get back into my fantasy novels! Happy Near Year 🥳

Yall! I finally finished my reading challenge! After three years I actually met my goal! 25 books ( I know that to Artzer and Jasmin that may not seem like a lot 😅). I continue to read more and more every year, and I still have two months to go! Whoooo🎉 Side note, I've dwindled down my bookshelf of shame to almost nothing, I can soon go to Barnes and Noble and buy more books without feeling guilty. ✨

Wow, it's only the end of July and I've already read the same amount of books I read in all of last year.
