Good advice, but it's repetitive and often painfully corporate - there's a system here that could definitely work for humans outside of work, especially neurodivergent folks (the shortened deadlines are a particularly good fit for ADHDers, imo) but the book rarely talks about personal goals and successes and is much more focussed on the white collar business audience.

The case studies are examples are definitely the strong point of this. The autobiographical parts drag though. And it's *hard* to drag down the pacing in a short 5hr audiobook.

I would hate to be stuck in a room with this guy. We get it, bro, you fuck. Nobody cares please can we skip the humblebragging and get to the philosophy. I like the idea of countering self help with "blog style" straightforwardness, it's a cool concept, but this execution feels like a watering down of nihilism that misses a lot of the point.

Getting Patrick Warburton to narrate this was an absolute stroke of genius.

First half was a tough read - not due to anything the author planned, it's just a plotline about the evils of vaccines reads very differently these days. And it was a very dark, depressing half. Second half is feeling a lot more gripping.
