Okay im having a good time with this writing!

Okay! Its getting better, maybe i was too hasty to get nervous hahaha. The names being thrown around are a lot though, and ofc there are some historically accurate moments which make me go yikes

Why write ‘spook her’ in the middle of a sentence. What happened to the word scare? or frighten?
Also, so much ‘gingerbread’. And a lot of telling and not showing, a LOT. Marguerite is described as ‘super intelligent’ by everyone, but keeps immediately telling every other character that she’s a spy. I hope there’s a reason for that later on?
That being said am I still enjoying this right now? Yep.

Listen. This feels exactly like how I write crappy fanfiction just for myself, and I’m here for it. It’s not great writing, but it’s everything I wanted to read right now. I only wish there was more of a natural build up instead of ‘unexplained love at first sight for no reason’. And I don’t have to repeat people saying ‘err’ and ‘gingerbread’ are mentioned far, far too much.
