I thought it was a little weird that she had two accidental head injuries?? I also feel like the author missed an opportunity by making Ace’s uncle the one who was stalking her. I think it would have been a cooler plot to have it be Ace’s old gang boss, and then have it be her mom’s old boyfriend. That would have been better than being Ace’s uncle….in my humble opinion. Lol.

Regardless, it is ABSOLUTELY a betrayal to allow the step-sister to touch him, for him to see her naked, and for them to be alone together. I don't know if I could overlook that personally, and it makes me like Ace less. :/ (2/2)

I don't understand why Remi was so quick to believe Ace when it comes to the sex tape, but she doesn't believe he isn't fucking her step-sister? That doesn't really align with her character. They both know he loves her, and he has repeatedly showed her that. (1/2)

I really enjoyed this book, but it was a little bit of an insta-love situation so not super realistic in that sense. Otherwise it was a pretty solid story.

I understand Nesta and love her and Cassian. But everyone else in this book bugged the shit out of me!! The ending was better. Rhys was LESS of a douche…feyre less the martyr…but still. I am unhappy with the current state of affairs. I think Nesta deserves an apology personally. This one was a little hard for me to push through.

About her like she doesn’t have any say over her own life pisses me off!! And sometimes Cassian just goes along with it?? Where do Amren and Rhys, and Feyre get off feeling like they get to hold so mush away over what she knows and her decisions?? I don’t like them anymore!!! (2/2)

This book has made me like Rhys and Feyre even less than before. I used to actually like her, and he only bugged me a little, but do they not see that the way they treated Nesta at the beginning is EXACTLY how Tamlin treated Feyre in the spring court?? What hypocrites!!! They are withholding information from her? Alienating her? Taking away her choices over her own life. And the way they are just taking votes (1/2)

I expected the ended, but loved this whole book. It probably could have been a little shorter, but I was happy to have the extra time with Keris and Zara. One of my favorites! Loved it! ♥️

Really good book so far. Solid 4.75 stars at the moment. Coming off of Fourth Wing, I just can't give a perfect 5 stars. Although it is better than some other books I've rated as high...I'll need to think on that. I love Keris...even more than Aren from the first 2 books. I love how he loves Zara, and she can be a little stubborn and hard to love. Plot has been really fast paced and I am excited to see where it ends.

Devastatingly, beautifully perfect! One of my best reads of all time ♾️/5 🌟 super fast paced. Pulls you right into the story. No slow parts. Romance banter and character building were all top tier. I have no changes, no notes.

Love - love - loving this book. DAIN is a dreamboat! 🥰 I’m already in love. I know I’m supposed to be all about Xaden, but what can I say? I’m a childhood best friends to lovers stan. And he’s got that hot protective sexy vibe. I like violet’s attitude too and that she stands up for herself. I want to know more about her “weakness.”

I’m definitely enjoying this so far. I like that he’s taking his time with her. I feel like the brother, Aiden?, and his best friend are also dating secretly…guess we shall see. I want to see Zenny decide she doesn’t want to be a nun without him asking her to stay with him…also, I love their communication and that this is all from the MMC’s POV.

Surprised that this book made me want to continue with ACOTAR by the end. Sucked in by the end.

This would have easily been 4/5 Stars - the buildup was there, but Grace just forgave him so easily. This should have had waaaaaaaaaay more groveling!!! I mean he legit abandoned her in her time of need…I just don’t get it. I mean we all knew what he was doing like she did, but she deserved better from him. His skittishness should have brought her some pause. Makes her character seem less strong than I like.

Loved this one! The characters feel relatable, and I love when the guys fall first and falls harder. ♥️ It’s the pining for me!

Really enjoying this one. Super sexy, fast paced, easy read. I think these two are super sweet and I like the daughter too. Some parts were slightly cheesy and the love was a little fast, but I would definitely recommend to others.

3/5 stars. This is cute, and the smut is good, but I don’t feel super connected as to the characters. Everything seems to just keep working out for them. Also, I feel like I see the twist at the end coming. I like that it gives off nostalgic and Christmasy vibes though. And Dylan is annoying. Everly too.

This was so good! Epic slow burn enemies to lovers. Kept me enthralled the whole time. I loved Dallas, and this was the first time MMC was actually cruel or mean to the FMC. That was an interesting take. Also, I didn’t see the twist coming until right beforehand, and I honestly didn’t know how it was going to end. Love, love, love! 🩷

This is really cute! Enjoyed this so far, but the author cut to black…. 🙁🙁🙁 I guess I just really don’t know how to read romances without the smut and spice at this point. This would have probably been a 4.25-4.5/5 if it included those scenes, but without more like a 3.75-4/5 stars. Banter in this book is excellent. 👌 top tier.

What a sweet and spicy story. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this one. It was my first hockey romance and I see what all the hype is about. Noah and Margo are super cute together and the 3rd act breakup was surprising and emotional. Only the epilogues are left at this point and I am pretty sure it will end like most HEAs. But still I’m thinking this is a solid 4.75/5 at the moment.

I love this book. It keeps me laughing out loud, I love all of the pop culture references, and the characters are the most multifaceted individuals I’ve read in a while. I don’t know if this is also supposed to be a beauty and the beast retelling, but those vibes are clearly coming through too. If this continues as is it will definitely get 5 stars from me.

I honestly am enjoying this book better than book one, but it’s just still missing something I can’t put my finger on.

This was very dark, but good. Solidly enjoyable. I like that it ended on a cliffhanger. Characters felt believable. I do wish there was a part of Z that had eased up some with the aggression with Addie, like her only soft spot is for her. Like the nonconsenting shouldn’t be happening at the end of the book. But I guess he is just a tad crazy.

This book really let me down there at the end. I just don’t really know what happened here with this plot. The first like half was amazing 5/5 and then everything sort of went off the rails. It was instalove for Grey, and the miscommunication trope was kinda weird, Ida’s plot, then the shift in Grey’s mentality. Just off the rails.

Thoroughly enjoying this one! Heartbreaking and angsty. Jack is adorable! And the pining in this one is top notch! Sometimes feels a little slow. 4.25/5 stars so far.

This took forever to finish, but I really enjoyed it! Very good book, and I loved the characters and thought they were way more realistic romantically than a lot of other couples. DEFINITELY A SLOOOOOOW BURN. I am diving right into book two, but will probably also flip between this and other books to maybe speed things along.

Wow! I really enjoyed this! What a sad story though!?! I really hate Dr. Frankenstein for not being able to see the good in his creation and judging the monster without cause. They both could have lived happily, but Frankenstein was too stubborn. What a shameful waste of several lives!

A little slow to start, and a little had to follow just because of the author’s diction choices and some of the new vocabulary caused by the alternative world. I feel like I am on the cusp of something bigger happening, and I can’t wait. I fell like I am really going to like this book once things start to heat up with the plot!

I friggin’ hate Dr. Frankenstein!!! So, so, so, so much!! All his monster wants is to be loved accepted and to find companionship and acceptance in his life through his connections with others. Isn’t thins what all of us want from life? For the Doc to be so horrified by his ability to create life, he is a terribly singularly-minded individual incapable of seeing beauty in the imperfections of life.
