Y’know, the time skips kinda keeping me on my toes to keep things straight but damn, this book sure isn’t. (I love Ilya so much)

I shouldn’t be this excited about this damn smoothie worker getting some and yet, here we are.

Am I enjoying this book? Yes
Am I also still stuck on the fact that it’s modern fantasy and that always takes a ding or two off and I just imagine how it could be if it wasn’t modern? Also yes

Respectfully I refuse to get over my dislike for modern fantasy, but I will still enjoy the book anyways if there’s enough there.

The story is engaging so far but certain parts feel like they’re written by a grade schooler and I just. Hmmmmmm.

Absolutely losing my fucking mind. Radek is the dumb himbo we deserve.

The plot thickens. The curse of reading is wanting to have instant gratification but know you’re not gonna get it.

Something about Hazelwoods books are so comforting. despite whatever the fuck Harkness is doing I’m grinning like a goddamn idiot because I just love these two characters already.

Much better than book 2 so far. I still think that book was entirely pointless.
