I think Fern’s flaw is the only instance in a story where I’ve /liked/ miscommunication as a story point (or trope). This one is quiet. But real.

Anyway have I told you how much I love and ADORE Astryx One-Ear, Blademistress, the Oathmaiden?

Man, this is such concise and heartfelt story of belonging and purpose. Surprisingly almost directly mirroring the existensialist musings I’m reading about in my other (non-fiction) book. Huh!

Sorry but the Chekhov’s gun of (everything really, but especially) the bracelets is killing me already. I just know I’m gonna cry at the end of this, these sillies have my heart

Unrelated, but I have come to realize Christmas is just medieval for me - maybe my seasonal craving for Sims Medieval is only natural when I’ve grown up watching Reisen Til Julestjernen and Tre Nøtter Til Askepott.

The bookmark i’m using for this book is a cat with a pink bow (or flower) on its back reading a book with a big magnifying glass, and that’s very appropriate to how I feel reading this book

Bakewell is very funny so far, and I feel like I’m getting not just a definitive informative introduction to modern existentialism, but also the contemporary contexts! Fun to read about emerging trendy existentialist fashion that is still the exact same today

So far, this is very clearly written and easily digested. I’m taking my time, and I’m not unfamiliar with most of the basic concepts, but I feel like I am learning something!
