This has to be the most lively translated Japanese book I’ve read so far - or the amount of personality the author writes shines so bright it breaks through the English translation curse

I'm so rarely on Goodreads, but I saw the title of this book because you've posted this update and I'm adding it to my TBR based on title alone! I refuse to do any more research than that (though even without context your update implies it's got emotional bits, which only adds to my conviction that I must read this book, which has so wise a title)

I picked it up on a whim in the UK for the title as well! Very captivating, and I love a blind read.
Figured it a result of my ‘walk into a bookstore and find a new Japanese cat-book’-superpower.
Maybe this book, much like the library, finds those who need it exactly when they do.
