I like it a lot so far. I'm listening to one translation on audio book while reading along with another translation. It's fun to see the differences in style, even though they both end up saying the same thing in different words and phrases.

This is only the second Sidney Shelton book I've ever read, but it is obvious that he has a low opinion of the human race. His characters are usually awful people - not just flawed, but really awful.

I've finished The Time Machine, which was an okay read. I'm partially through The Invisible Man, which I'm enjoying more.

This book has been #1 on my Want to Read list since I joined Goodreads in 2009, and on other TBR lists before that. It's about time!

This book is fascinating!

I really, really love this book.

The big mystery of my life (at the moment) is why I never remember hearing of this book as I grew up. It was published when I was a small child, and I was a voracious reader throughout my childhood. So how did I miss this one? Perhaps I didn't, and I just don't recall it. I do not remember ever hearing about it until the last few years (due to Goodreads, probably). I hope it is as good as people say.

Having a hard time getting into this one - unusual for a John Grisham.

I have to read this in small doses because it is affecting my mood somewhat. These poor women! It makes my heart hurt.

This is one very intriguing book.
