I was dared to read this book by a coworker who apparently believes it will cure my own mental disorder of being a liberal (which I am not - I identify politically as an independent centrist). The preface and introduction lead me to believe that there is a lot of skim reading in my future.

I was wondering why someone would read this by choice.

Exactly why I wrote a comment. Didn't want anyone to get the wrong idea about me.

I cannot make myself pick this book up again. So it will be moved to my short "Did Not Finish" list. I already know how conservatives think, having been one most of my life, and I do not need the negativity and rudeness of this book.
