What a unique way of writing. The storyline sort of renews every five pages with a new plot. No real twists, just made up new stuff that appears, gets you lost, wondering what the heck is this all about and so it goes on and on. Interesting author.

Beautiful language but not a single organized thought in those words. I can see the general picture but the details are intriguingly unclear.

The whole plot so far can be written in one page. The rest is aimless rambling, what in the world was bro Conrad smoking? Plus a side plot with a black guy getting killed by a spear. I am lost in every possible way so far. Except that bro is looking for Kurtz. First quarter of the book and I have not seen anything influential about this story.

We took this story on a trip and read half of it on the road. That's how entertaining it started. Didn't make the driver sleepy or the reader bored 🥱 so far so good. Maybe soon it will tell us a little about the title.

Can't put this story down. I didn't know I started out of order. I don't think I needed any of the previous books to enjoy this one. Fun plot. As always, nothing about nature but the rest has been exciting.

I am flored this book is rated so low. It's amazing writing, Great Expectations mingled with Huckleberry Finn. Nobody writes this way, it's brilliant. So far.

How will Valentine escape marrying Franz and marry M Morrell instead? Monte Cristo isn't even involved. It's giving itself on its own. I cant wait. I love this story.
