Very fascinating book. Truly makes you understand the Japanese people during the war. I guess you could say the common people were just following the orders. The institutional power at hand the imperials created this population deluded by grand honor temporarily. As some people in the book noted they didn't know why they acted the way they did. They just thought the doing it would be good for the emperor.

The final to the first tournament arc and it ended with a banger. The battles were intense, epic, and funny all at the same time. Akira toriyama's art is fantastic as always except for one pannel but that doesn't count. Overall 4.25 out of 5 stars.
