Soooo good! Action packed stand alone story. So excited to listen to the next book!

This is the third book in The Shadow Campaign series. If you love fantasy (magic), action, and political intrigue with interesting and empowered female characters...you should check this series out!

A zombie-like human apocalypse as seen through the eyes of a domesticated crow with low self-esteem. At times funny and poignant but always melodramatic. Enjoyed it more before COVID-19 hit my community. It is an attempt to tell a standard tale from a different perspective. Don't listen too closely as some of the story lines and the crow's attempts to work through identity issues don't really hang together.

This is a collection of essays spanning Rediker’s 30 years of research on pirates as the creators and transmitters of liberation ideologies and authoritarian resistance. Though not the main thrust of this collection, it deftly shows that the standard story of the formation of America by the founding fathers is woefully deficient.
