I know I’m almost done with this book but I am having such a hard time thinking of finishing this book. I don’t think I’ll find another one this incredible.

This honestly is one of the best historical fiction I’ve read in a long time! I love hearing the main character’s perspectives on The Revolutionary War - from walking in a man’s shoes. She is somewhat of a character - to be admired for sure.

My usual “flavor” of reading has drastically shifted in the last year, thanks to our grand named LilyBeth. I have found great joy in this new flavor and have read this book to her multiple times on each visit -2-3 times each week or more. I imagine we will repeat this one even more as grand #2 is due in May. Thank you LilyPop for getting me into this new flavor.

I’ve not read such a beautifully written novel since STRANGE THE DREAMER!

Has anyone in my friend’s list read this? So far pretty eerie.

I finished this book in a couple of hours. I grew up living in Choctaw Country near Naniwaha (? Spelling) and loved Crossing Bok Chito. So many good memories of home and the stories there. So I thought I would be interested in this Choctaw Trail of Tears Story. Very good.

Spellbinding! I am glad book 2 is out. It probably will be a cliffhanger.

Okay- so I know I just started this book. But I’m already hooked.
