I am trying so hard to see the buzz for this book and I just cannot.

For someone who claims to avoid eating anything white, that seems to be all she actually eats.

Was just about to give up then it finally got interesting. Mind you, this took 160 pages.

It is taking a lot of effort to finish this.

While I miss the quality of writing she showed in Kevin, I can’t help but appreciate her anti liberal snark, overplayed and dogmatic as it may be)

Super hectic, but considering the last two dumpster fires, I’ll give it a go.

This book is a hot mess. PLL vibes with less likable characters.

Less is more, my dear.
This reads like a lethal combination of my weak writing students (enough with the I verb statements!) and a hyped up feverish Juliet ODing on Romeo. Calm the heck down, girl.

Hate reading

This woman needs way more buzz. 3/3 outstanding novels.

This is simply beautiful writing.

Such a rare thing - a book that is written really badly yet still holding my attention.

Newman never fails to reinforce everything I hate about the modern era.

I love this man.

I had a bad feeling when a GR reviewer said that this covers interesting topics like the pandemic, racism, and identity politics and I’m like, bro, literally none of those are interesting.

Is this going to get good? Ever?
