Ich frage mich, ob irgendwann noch so etwas wie „Handlung“ einsetzt. Bisher nur Sprachakrobatik.

Such promising characters, cats, and magic. The world-building, however, is abysmal, and the story is extremely thin. What a pity.

The subplot involving the dragons feels somewhat out of place and out of sync with the overall story. I don’t understand why these poorly developed dragons, who speak a secret language, were shoehorned into the plot. Well, the book is from 1973, so my reading experiences and expectations are probably just different.

Wenn diese sprachlich minderbegabte Schreiblette noch einmal „so habe ich es verstanden" als Parenthese einfügt....
