I have dreaded the loss of MC Beaton since I started reading both Hamish Macbeth and Agatha Raisin. Am I wrong to be glad that Sonsie (or creepy Human Semetary Sonsie) features so prominently? Am I wrong to hope my Highland Constabulary crush becomes a cat man?

We are off to a good start as Sofronia has managed to cover a very proper matron's hat in very sticky trifle, earning the displeasure of her sister, the enmity of the matron, and the dismay of the maid.
