Today is such a stacked publishing day. I’m going to repost my reviews for my two favorites but there’s so many more. It’s so exciting!!

Why am I crying over a love story that basically happened off page? I’m only 10% into the book. 😭😭😭😭

I’m inhaling this and then going back and re-reading parts because I want to sit in it and then inhaling again.

This book is 0% subtle. I’m barely into it and multiple people have looked at him and said “don’t sleep with her.” He’s a gilded age fuck boi 🤣

Beach vacation as someone who burns immediately and doesn’t like the cold ocean means double fisting SPF and books 🤣

You know, I’m not entirely sure why the vampire was killing zombies while wearing only a leather hoodie and a sheepskin thong but I also am … intrigued. 🤣

I’m loving this so far. I get the Harry Potter comparisons: an orphan in a magical world with spells and charms who goes to a magic academy. And I’m, of course, mispronouncing 95% of the names, spells, cities, magical creator but I’m a little pig in mud in this world.

I feel like I’ve read so many enemies to lovers or grumpy x sunshine recently that I’m almost taken aback to see two people flirt with each other when they first meet. I’m like scandalized by mild flirtation 😆

This is like a cool mix of F1 but they race phoenixes but someone also said they got an email which drives me nuts! We’re in a different world which phoenixes and different religions and country names but they get the internet and emails?!

There’s a sort of love triangle in this and I honestly could never do it. It’s too many emotions and information to manage. I’d be like “wait, are you the one with the dog?” An excel sheet to keep them straight.

Using the word “wanton” in dirty talk is truly an accomplishment 🤣

This is very sweet and cute so far. Somehow when an old timey man is like “I’m in love with her” super quickly, I’m like awww 🥰 but when a dude does it in modern times, I’m like “he’s love bombing!!” 😡🤬 Make it make sense.

I feel like I’ve learned a lot about Vegas’s annulment procedures from these cowboy books. 🤣

So lesson one: file for annulment immediately.

Look, I too would be wary of a male intimacy coordinator for a movie, but Tash jumped down his throat so hard and so fast. Like girl, if you wouldn't like him that much just go talk shit about him behind his back like a normal person.

They’re on an adventure and yet I find it kind of slow? I hear there’s a twist so I’m committed now but let’s get a move on, folks.

This is a fun listen so far. I LOVE a duet narration. Truly top tier.
