Yandere nightmare chick is way more interesting than boring prince

Taking a KU break to read some books from Libby and my gigantic stack of free books from SYKD/Book Blast events. I finally stopped hoarding even more for the time being XD

I needed a long break after the infamous Chapter 6 but am finally back to reading this. I sure am ready for this "task" to be complete.

Liking this better than the first one, much like TCP. Seems HB's plots just take a while to really get rolling.

Made it a lot farther this time. Caz is really my favorite type of MMC.

Giving this book another shot as I have had a lot of people recommend it. I am about on page 50 now.

Oof, the prologue already made me cry. (Nana was hurt, he gets better though.)

That whole sewer part felt straight out of a tabletop game, complete with the different alignment characters arguing about what to do XD

Interesting plot so far. I am really curious about what Bob is trying to pull off here.

I got a little bored reading this straight through as a book. I am now treating it more as its original serial form, reading a chapter here and there.

Another random LFL find. The back of the book is somewhat misleading. I was expecting a lot more of it to be about navigating an ENM relationship but we're only just starting to address that now.

I also feel a little put off by her description of how "these clubs are so welcoming! Oh, but those kinky queers are all somewhere else. We're ~normal~ here"

I like Zhani, but this book is feeling a bit stretched. Kinda wishing this had been a trilogy instead of 4.

Finished Chapter 1. I was worried Tomoka's lesson was going to be "stop worrying about your career and be a housewife!" but thankfully it went in a different direction.
