Talya is starting Out of the Blue
Relationship drama is literally the worst thing in the world. Miscommunication can go fall off a cliff. Despite that, this book was still very sweet and, although it didn’t go in the direction I thought it would it was very enjoyable💗🫠🧜🏻‍♂️

Q: I love the feel of the pen beneath my hand. I love making marks. I love the history behind each one and the way that each can be interpreted in more than one way.

It’s great so far, it feels more character than plot based but that’s what I like about Alice oseman. I do think some of it was unnecessary and could have been cut out but I love the whole premise. I also think the amount of time the main character came out was a lot and kinda of similar each time, which one one hand seemed realistic but also was a little like one of my daydreams in its continuity. Good, I thought it was a kids book but there are a lot of deep subjects such as mental illnesses. As well as this there is arson and traumatic events for the young children

It’s pretty good but a little young for me. I’m not immediately sucked in but it’s still a good book nonetheless

Some bits are a little confusing such as the landscapes and geography of the place as well as the different characters and the lack of explanation for the “hags” and “white witches”
I also didn’t like the description of the witch changing ages as it made me uncomfortable.

The main character is kind of a bad influence because she breaks into places and lies and runs away however she does have a reasonable motive so it can be overlooked

It’s good and I feel more motivated to read it now as I sense a more emotional connection to the characters through their dæmons. Also, they have entered the land of the dead , which makes you think about what is happening and question life.
