This one was tough to get into at the start. Dario was an absolute ASS from the start, but near the middle begins to soften. Sara has the most sheltered life - it's truly unimaginable. I can't even put myself in her shoes in any way. When I read a book, I always imagine the way I would write the next chapter or how it will play out - can't with this! And the cliff hanger at the end... !?! Just wow. I wasn't ready.

Ugh... I love KR's book series, but this one in the series wasn't my favorite. The previous book definitely set me up to not like the FMC, and a lot of this book was lies, deceits by omission, and huge insecurities. I think I would have wondered too much about it to have skipped it, but it was a struggle to get through for me. 2.5 out of 5

Wow. This is a departure for me, but as always, CD Reiss is a master of telling a story that pulls you in. Definitely recommend.

H.O.L.Y. mother of ... twins. I loved this book. Did the lead characters do stupid, immature things? Yes. Was it age appropriate for both of them? Also yes. Be warned, if you're reading / listening in public, the near end area might be a bit ... emotional. I had enough of a heads up to, literally, time it to finish the last 2 hours at home. It was SO good. I will definitely carry these characters on with me.
