i have such conflicted thoughts about this book so far. i want to believe it is going to make something better of itself at the end, challenge the ideas it presented in the first chapters. but if it doesn’t, it will be a huge letdown for me. i used to like reading gerritsen a lot in high school, and now i’m revisiting sort of to understand why.
